Procom was established to provide a top class service to the fire industry. Our business is owned by Peter le Roux, who's wealth of experience has afforded him the privilege of sharing this with companies and individuals over the years.
Peter graduated from the Institute of Fire Engineers with a Graduate Diploma and also received a Graduate Diploma from the South African Fire Services Institute. He is currently registered as a level 5 Fire Detection Designer and Gas Suppression Commissioner with the SAQCC.
This development of experience encompasses every aspect of fire, from 17 years of fire fighting and Fire Inspections in the Cape Town Fire and Rescue Services to 6 years of teaching fire technology at the SANDF Fire College.
Since 1996 he has been actively involved in all aspects of fire in the fire private industry as well as training staff of industrial and commercial businesses in basic fire, marshal and evacuation training.
His fire detection designs have been implemented across the country in hospitals, clinics, industrial and commercial premises and many other buildings. All the designs are in accordance with South African legislation. He has also commissioned various gas suppression systems across the country.
